Samuel Lee
Born in 1974, I was adopted into an American/Norwegian household from the country of Vietnam at the youthful age of 16 months. Most of my younger years were spent growing up in the rural areas of Klamath Falls, Oregon. This sparsely populated area allowed me to experience childhood in a natural exploratory environment where lakes, forests, mountains, and open landscapes were my daily playground.
I moved from Klamath Falls to Portland, Oregon in 1986. It was here where I completed my high-school education and went on to complete a BFA in Photography while studying many other artistic avenues with major focuses on Business Communications, DJ composition, Music, Multimedia, Video, and Graphic Design. Today I continue to educate myself through experiences, extended education, and exploration in daily life. Lately I have been focusing on growing a side-business structured on sustainability and healthy environmental policy. When I'm not doing design work, being a Mac geek, discovering new music, or making eco-green pet things I can be found, taking pictures, snowboarding, riding my bike, organic gardening, or just exploring great food, entertainment and places. As well as being an animal lover and enthusiast of life exploration, I'm a life-long musician of experimentation and inspiration. I began DJ'ing as an art form in 1990 and have since then continued to integrate that resource into my musical upbringing. I also play guitar, keyboards and can keep rhythm on a drum pretty darn well. It's a journey I will always keep close to me throughout my life as I continue to progress, grow and evolve.
